Specimens for The Tensile Testing Machine

Tensile specimens to be available in Short (TS – Test Length 25.25 mm, overall length 37.25 mm) and Long (TL – Test Length 57 mm, overall length 100 mm) versions. The short versions to demonstrate the basic principles of Tensile testing, the long versions are for use with an optional Extensometer for precise determination of Young’s Modulus (E). Nominal diameter of gauge length to be 5.05 mm. The specimens are to be compatible with Hounsfield or Monsanto Tensometers
